Mr.Gibbsdippedoneendofalong,hollowrodcalledapipeintothe oven.Hebroughtthepipeout.Ithadaglowingglobofglassattheend. Mr.Gibbsrolledthepipeonatabletosmoothandcooltheglassjusta bit.Thenhehadtoworkfast.Ifhewaited,theglasswouldcooltoo muchandwouldharden.Heblewintothepipe.Thismadeabubble inthegooeyglass.Thesolidglobofglasshadbecomeahollowbowl. Mr.Gibbsaddedthinstrandsofmeltedglassofseveralothercolorsto maketheoutsideofthebowlmorebeautiful.Heusedthepipetodip thebowlintotheovenagainsothecolorswouldflowintoswirling shapes.Afterthat,hetwirledthepipewiththeglassonitfast,fast, fast.Wewatchedthebowlgetwiderandrounder.
