My Life as a Worm

My Life as a WorM By Megan Linke It’s hard work being a worm. I need to dig in the hard dirt for a meal. Sometimes, I dig until it hurts. On top of it, I need to watch for birds at all times. Sneaky birds lurk at every turn. Still, being a worm has its perks. I get to squirm and turn in the dirt all day. At night I curl up a under a cozy fern. So yes, it’s hard work being a worm. But I’d say it’s worth it. ™ © Advanced Assessment Systems/LinkIt! Passage provided under license from Use and duplication is restricted to licensees only.
